I've had some negative experiences in the past with taking fish oil supplements. Some gave me bad breath, others smelled repulsive in the bottle, but all of them made me feel nauseated. These Life & Food Omega-3 Supreme fish oil pills are enteric-coated which delays release and absorption of the product until it enters the intestine. This is a great bonus for me! These softgels are easy to take, but they are a little on the large side for me. After just two weeks of using this supplement I've noticed less joint pain and increased flexibility. I have only taking Fish Oil supplements one other time in my life, and I hated them. They smelt super fishy and left a bad after taste in my mouth. I didn't have any of these problems with the Life & Food Omega-3 Fish Oil capsules. The capsules were large as you can see in the photos, but they went down smoothly and didn't leave any after taste. I received these for review purpose and took them daily for 1 week before reviewing. I have had no adverse side effects as of this point. I am also nursing and was approved to take these supplements by my doctor.
I have been taking fish oil supplements for a couple of years. Usually I buy the brand offered by my local store, and those are pretty much a chore to take. There is always a little bit of a fishy taste if I don't make sure to get them down without them touching my tongue. I was surprised how different these are! The coating on these is obviously much thicker and there is no fish taste at all on the outside. My spouse thinks they have a slight licorice flavor and finds that pleasant.
