The body needs fatty acids to survive and is able to make all but two of them: linoleic acid (LA), in the omega-6 family, and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) in the omega-3 family. These two fatty acids must be supplied by the diet and are therefore considered essential fatty acids (EFAs).

I use product 2000 in morning nad 2000 evening. EPA and DHA and olive extract are important for the body. I do not like when there is leakage in the bottle and I burp the fishy taste.
no aftertaste, great bioavailability
I take this along with curcumin, arthromax, and occasionally cumin oil and other supplements to help with inflammation occurring from wearing of knee joint. It is hard to separate the effect from the other supplements. I can't take the non-enteric coated because I get terrible burps, so the enteric coated does the trick. I take it with food.
I have have been dosing this product twice daily for many years now with meals for all its wonderful properties and have successfully switched to the enteric coated to avoid fish burps. Family and friends agree they are experiencing no fish burps either with the enteric coated, but for some, the large size capsules are difficult to swallow. Also appreciate that the daily dose is divided into four capsules for those that want to take less. No side effects noted-take it with my Vitamin K and Vitamin D3 for better absorption of all three.
I try to take the recommended four per day, but sometimes I only end up taking two or three. Before I found the enteric-coated, the regular ones would occasionally give me a mild fish-tasting burps.
This doesn't give you the after taste and ugly gas that the non-entric coated one's do A great improvement !!
We take this product every day at mealtime. We like that Life Extension is very careful to get fish oil that isn't contaminated and have a reallly good way of processing it. It is a bit hard to swallow as it is quite large.
